From February 20 - 26 we are coming together as a church for a week of prayer and fasting.

The Scripture we will be meditating on and praying through all week is Isaiah 40. The theme this puts before us is hope in the face of God. We will use Isaiah 40 to guide our prayers as we seek to be a church who is grounded more in God’s character than our circumstances. This should ignite and cultivate humble and hopeful prayers. Prayers that reorient us to live with an even clearer eternal perspective. In these words from Isaiah, we encounter the greatness and glory of God which comforts, encourages and strengthens us. Our focus this week will specifically be on Isaiah 40:31:

 “But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
