Frequently Asked Questions
Once you've joined a group, you'll have the ability to use the 'chat' feature to share and respond to activities/events/dates/times.
If you have an event to share, let the group know! If you're available for someone else's event, use the chat to let them know!
How do I see the chat information in my group?
In the Church Center App, be sure your settings allow notifications for the 'chat'. Click "manage group notifications." Toggle the push notifications to green. This is how you'll see and be notified of the events that members of your group post.
What's the best way to share an event?
Use the group chat in your group.
Be specific about the date, time, location.
Let the group know if there is a cap on number of people that can RSVP for it.
What can I post in my group chat?
DO: Post in the chat an opportunity to connect.
DO: Post a reply that you will attend an event another member offered.
DO NOT: Post random chatter/non-related comments or social media links, etc.
Can I join more than one group?
Yes!
What if I have a new group idea?

If you'd like to remain in your group, simply 'mute' your chat if you need a break from the notifications.
If you'd like to exit your group, let your group leader know.
