Our Children’s Ministry classes are designed for children to learn God’s Word at their own level. We strive to connect kids to Jesus through the study of the Bible, reinforcement activities, and the memorization of God’s Word. All of this is found in a safe and fun environment!
Our curriculum, The Gospel Story Bible, brings every story back to Jesus. Lessons allow for interactive learning, discipleship opportunities, and verse memorization.
Safety is a high priority at GBC. We comply with the state of Oregon safety standards by having background checks on all adult teachers and helpers, as well as proper classroom ratios. Our check-in system is secure with parent codes and pick-up tags. Additionally, in our younger classes, we make sure our toys are safe and disinfected each week.
We want your child to love going to church! We know that not only does fun matter to every child, but having fun is important for them to learn and grow.

The Gospel Story Curriculum
Because children need help understanding that the Bible is one story with Jesus as the hero, the Gospel Story Curriculum focuses on Christ and his Gospel as it teaches 156 key stories from Genesis to Revelation that highlight God’s plan of redemption. This unique three-year curriculum grows with children by exploring the same Bible stories in each class, but at three different learning levels, presenting the material in a fresh way each time to help children grow in their understanding of the Bible.
We’re Partnering with You!
Our passion is to partner with parents by teaching kids core truths about God that can be talked about as a family during the week. Each month, we send home the memory verse card. The verse is broken down to the appropriate length for each age group. On the back, you will find discussion questions from each week’s lesson so that your family can take time at home to reinforce what is being taught in the classroom!
