From the moment you step through our doors on a Sunday, we want you to encounter the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here is what to expect in this current season as we seek to follow the OHA guidelines for safely gathering as a church:
Our gathering takes place at 4:00 pm on Sundays at the Mountainview Christian Church and lasts approximately 60 minutes.
Our worship gatherings begin with a call to worship, we sing a couple of songs and then are led in prayer by our service leader. A message is preached expositionally from a passage in the Bible. We then respond to God's preached Word through reflection and singing some more. Finally, we receive some announcements and a benediction.
Currently, we are offering kids classes for ages 0-3 (Nursery/Seeds), PreK-1st Grade class (Sprouts/Greenhouse) and 1st-2nd grade (Orchard). Be sure to register your child beforehand and indicate which class you prefer. Once you arrive on a Sunday, you will see our Kids check in table where you can check your child into class. If you have older children, you will also find a bag for your family filled with activities to keep your kids engaged during the gathering.
Seeking to honor God and love our neighbor, and in light of OHA guidelines, we are asking everyone to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing at our Sunday gathering during this season. Following these measures better allows everyone to be present for worship on Sundays. We have medical masks and hand sanitizer available and offer a clean and sanitized facility. Also, our seating for worship will be socially distanced. If you have any questions, you can directly email any of our elders by visiting our leadership page on our website.
