From the moment you step through our doors on a Sunday, we want you to encounter the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our gathering takes place at 4:00 pm on Sundays at Mountainview Christian Church.
Our worship gatherings begin with a call to worship, then we sing a couple of songs and are led in prayer by our service leader followed by some important announcements. A sermon is then preached expositionally from a passage in the Bible. We then respond to God's preached Word through reflection, taking communion together, singing some more and to conclude, we receive a benediction from Scripture.
We are offer kids classes for ages 0-3 (Nursery/Seeds), PreK/K Grade class (Sprouts/Greenhouse), 1st-2nd grade (Orchard), 3rd-5th grade (Harvest). Be sure to register your child beforehand on our ChurchCenter app, and indicate which class you prefer.
Once you arrive on a Sunday, you will see our Kids check in table where you can check your child into class. If you have older children, we offer sermon sheets and crayons for them to have during the service. You can find these on a table outside the Worship Center.
In light of the new OHA and CDC guidance, our elder team has decided, beginning June 13th, that mask-wearing will be optional in all of our church gatherings and functions. This decision is made in order to honor everyone's medical privacy and conscience. We ask everyone to think the best of each other, and to function out of love and trust of one another. If you have any questions, you can directly email any of our elders by visiting our leadership page on our website. Or you can read a more thorough explanation by visiting our blog.
