Why We Exist
Gresham Bible Church youth ministry exists to...
- Engage students where they are.
- Teach them to find their salvation and identity in Jesus Christ.
- Build a community with the youth ministry.
- Train them in understanding that the gospel is found in all of Scripture.
- Send them out as godly leaders of integrity who will transform their homes, their schools, their churches, their workplaces, and their worlds for Christ.
- Our High School group meets at the Phonics Phactory on Sundays from 6:30-8pm.
Our Middle School group meets at our Downtown Study on Mondays from 6:30-8pm.
During this season with COVID-19, safety precautions will be in place to keep everything sanitized and the types of games we play will be limited to non-contact during Phase 1. We also ask that students bring masks to wear when social distancing is not possible.
These groups have 5-7 students and are divided by age and gender and are based on how many would like to participate and will be led by one of our youth leaders. The groups will begin at the beginning of October. We will be going through the curriculum we have been using throughout the summer online, “The Thread”. This series has been great as it walks through all of the Bible showing how Jesus is “the thread” that connects everything together and I think it will lend itself nicely to smaller group discussions to dig in more. While there are currently no after school activities, the goal is to use this opportunity to allow us to more intentionally be together as a faith community.

High School Study Pods
High School study pods are taking place at our downtown office in the Study. We are opening the study at our office location (123 E Powell Blvd., Suite 110) as a place for high school students to come and have a safe place to study with free Wi-Fi, assistance from adults, and build community with friends.
Beginning the week of September 21st-25th the study will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:30 am-3:45 pm. Students are welcome to stay the entire time, arrive late or leave early if it works better in their schedule, as long as they have parental permission.
Go HERE to sign up for one or multiple days.
